I'm Addy, classy but sassy.

I’m the 5’ 4” sassasarus behind Bold & Broad – my side project, turned small business. I started with zero idea on how even to create a listing on Etsy, let alone sell them, but somehow managed to Tim Gunn it and "make it work"!

Individual empowerment, advocacy for women, and dedication to supporting small and local businesses are at the forefront of who I am and what the shop stands for. All of the shop’s products aim to reflect this mindset and be embraced by baddies of all kinds!

I really don’t know what I’m doing

Some of the designs and branding are intentional, but the rest, I’m kind of making up as I’m going along. That’s kind of how Bold & Broad got started in the first place: just a couple prints, some advice from my cousin on how to create an Etsy listing, and a hope that I calculated the shipping dimensions correctly.

That was all in 2021– the day before I was set to have my wisdom teeth removed. Yup, nothing like a good anesthesia-induced coma to kick start your business!

But soon mastering the art of making it up as I went (and some dumb luck), testing out designs, sourcing reliable vendors, late nights of compiling content for social media, and surrounding myself with an amazingly supportive business community, the brand has grown beyond what I had envisioned and is just getting started!

The shop is curated with a unique selection of bold and edgy goods including cards, home decor, apparel, and trinkets that are designed to make a statement. Come for the empowerment messaging, the bold and amplified attitude, and products that are as unapologetic as I am.
